Position Overview

We’re looking for a Backend Developer who not only excels in building high-performance systems with Rust and Move, but also embraces a flexible, collaborative mindset. This role plays a core part in developing the infrastructure for our liquidity aggregation protocol on the Sui blockchain.We're seeking experienced engineers with proven technical expertise and a passion for continuous learning. The ideal candidate brings strong backend experience and versatility to support areas like smart contract development or frontend integration when needed

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services for our DeFi protocol using Rust.

• Design and implement efficient smart contracts using Move, especially on the Sui platform.

• Build and maintain APIs for protocol interactions and data aggregation.

• Optimize algorithm performance for liquidity routing and trade execution.

• Collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless integration.

• Contribute to internal documentation, API specifications, and team knowledge sharing.

• Provide occasional support for frontend or integration tasks using TypeScript/JavaScript when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Rust and experience with backend system design.

• Familiarity or hands-on experience with Move smart contracts.

• Interest or experience in blockchain development, preferably on Sui.

• Understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous programming.

• Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to work outside your comfort zone.

• Open mindset and collaborative spirit — willing to grow into adjacent technical areas.

Nice to have

• Experience with DeFi protocols, DEX/AMM mechanics, or liquidity pools.

• Background in cryptography, price oracles, or Web3 infrastructure.

• Knowledge of real-time and event-driven systems (WebSocket, event processing).

• Strong foundation in distributed system design, fault tolerance, and solution architecture.
